DSE 251: Data Visualization

This course introduces the principles, techniques, and tools used for effective visualization and communication of data. Students will learn how to transform raw data into meaningful visual representations that support analysis and decision-making. Topics include data exploration, visual encoding techniques, chart and dashboard design, interactive visualization, data storytelling, and best practices for presenting information clearly and effectively. The course also introduces visualization tools and programming libraries used for creating visual analytics solutions.
