It covers nomenclature, properties, reactions and synthesis of conjugated dienes, aromatics, organometallics, alcohols, phenols, ethers, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids and derivatives, and amines. Mechanisms include electrophilic aromatic substitution and nucleophilic addition. Carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins and nucleic acids
