SSC 102: Theoretical Foundation of International Relations and Public Policy

This course explores the key theoretical frameworks and concepts that underpin the study of international relations (IR) and public policy. Students will examine classical and contemporary theories in both fields, including realism, liberalism, constructivism, institutionalism, and public choice theory, and learn how these theories are applied to real-world global issues and policy-making processes. By integrating these foundational theories with case studies and policy analysis, students will develop a deeper understanding of the dynamics of international relations and the complexities of public policy formulation and implementation.
