For undergraduate day students, freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior class standing are systematically calculated by earned semester credit hours (CR) and cannot be adjusted:
- Freshman: fewer than 30 CR
- Sophomore: at least 31 CR but fewer than 60 CR
- Junior: at least 60 CR but fewer than 90 CR
- Senior: at least 90 CR
