Business Communication develops the critical communication skills needed to succeed in today’s global business environment. Using real-world scenarios, students apply rhetorical principles to analyze audiences, purposes, content, and communication channels across written, spoken, nonverbal, and cross-cultural contexts. Students practice creating common business genres, including emails, proposals, reports, and presentations, while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and active listening skills. The course also introduces the ethical and effective use of generative AI in the communication process.
