Introduces the fundamentals of the German language with particular emphasis on healthcare and medical contexts. The course develops basic proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while introducing essential grammar, pronunciation, and general and medical vocabulary. Students develop basic communication skills relevant to interactions with patients and healthcare professionals and to everyday situations in German-speaking clinical environments
