Communication for Leaders explores the connection between language and effective leadership. Students will explore how leaders can use language to inspire, persuade, and influence their employees and followers, as well as how language can shape the image of leadership. Through analysis of various communication strategies and case studies of successful leaders, students will develop an understanding of the importance of discourse in leadership. Topics covered include rhetoric, communication styles, negotiation strategies, cultural differences in communication, and the use of language in crisis management. The course includes both theoretical and practical components, with opportunities for students to apply concepts through role-plays and group activities.
