This course develops students' ability to design and construct responsive architectural elements ata human scale—walls, partitions, furniture, and interior installations—that sense, interpret, andadapt to spatial conditions. Students apply principles of feedback and cybernetic control toproduce two working prototypes: a responsive mesoscale element and a non-humanoid socialrobotic architectural artifact.
